Dr. Raheleh Karampour received her bachelor’s degree in exceptional child psychology, her master’s degree in personality psychology, and her doctorate in medical-developmental psychology from the Vygotsky Institute in MGU , Moscow, Russia. As a specialist in the field of diagnosis and treatment of neurodevelopmental disorders, she has excellent  experience and expertise and is fluent in Persian, English, and Russian languages. She is a developmental pathologist and psychotherapist.

Her  approach is  Diagnosis and treatment planning with a multidisciplinary team of different specialists. This planning includes designing the assessment process, i.e. determining and measuring the factors contributing to the problem, determining the child and family’s support resources; and designing the treatment and interventional  process, including motivating the family to change, and making practical and effective suggestions for the child.

A multi-method assessment approach is used in the diagnosis process, which includes comprehensive assessment of mental, cognitive, affective, emotional, and behavioral problems, assessment of self-help, social communication, and life skills in children and adolescents, examination of children’s verbal development, behavioral assessment and determination of target behavior (behavioral problems), and implementation and interpretation of cognitive mental tests such as the Wechsler Children’s Intelligence Scale (WISC-IV), Stanford-Binet Intelligence Scales , Raven Children’s IQ Test ; implementation and interpretation of projective tests such as the Drawing Family Test (DAF), the Draw a Person Test (DAP), the Children’s  Apperception Test (CAT), and other tests required  are implemented, scored, and interpreted by a group of colleagues under her supervision.
